Quiznos coming to Dartford

By Sean McPolin

An American-styled subway shop is challenging residents to make their best sandwich to celebrate its opening.

US founded Quiznos will be coming to Telford Square, Dartford, on Friday June 21.

The store, which offers fresh subs and salads, will hold a bake-off style event on Wednesday, June 26, where attendees will make their own sandwiches and have a chance of winning £200.

Mayor of Dartford Cllr Roger Perfitt will open the store and be at the 'sub-off' competition.

Quiznos will choose some residents to take part in competition and some to judge it.

Founder and CEO of the UK branch Jack Rai said: “We are really excited about the opening of the Dartford store. We are aiming to open another eight stores this year, due to the success of the Quiznos brand in the UK.
