Police are appealing for help to trace a missing 56-year-old woman with a black shopping basket.

Maria Pilgrim, was reported missing yesterday (April 23) after last being seen walking along Main Road in Longfield.

The last sighting of her was at around 2.10pm last Friday (April 18).

She is described as being around 5ft 5in, of slim build with reddish hair.

Maria was wearing a long dark grey coat, grey trousers and white flip flops at the time.

She also had a black shopping basket with two wheels and an extendable handle.

Officers are concerned for her welfare and are urging anyone who sees Maria or knows where she might be to call 999 quoting reference 23-1432.
