Six crews fight fire in Lowfield Street, Dartford

Six fire crews spent an hour and a half on Sunday evening tackling a fire at a derelict building in Dartford town centre.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Lowfield Street just after 5pm.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets, fogspikes and positive pressure ventilation fans to tackle the blaze.
