Strong winds closed two of four lanes on Dartford Crossing

Strong winds have caused trouble for motorists trying to get over the Dartford Crossing.

Two of the four lanes were closed just before midday due to 'adverse weather condtions'.

The high speeds winds delayed drivers trying to get across the QEII bridge, heading in to the county.

All lanes have since been reopened.

Dartford wasn't the only place in Kent that has been affected by the weather.

Motorists heading to Dover face nine mile queues as they head to the port.
