A 30mph speed limit on the QE2 Bridge has been removed, due to a drop in wind speeds.

Drivers travelling between Kent and Essex faced delays on the Dartford Crossing after the safety measure was imposed.

It comes as Storm Hannah continues to batter Kent, with winds of up to 55mph predicted.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the county, which remains until 3pm.

Earlier lane closures on the bridge have also been lifted, as Highways England continues to monitor wind speeds.
