Teenager arrested in West Hill, Dartford, after police discover 'cannabis farm'

A teenager who was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis has been refused charge.

Officers arrested the 19-year-old on Friday, July 5, after a quantity of cannabis plants were seized from a property in West Hill, Dartford.

He was subsequently refused charge following inquiries, meaning prosecutors refused to prosecute the individual either in the interests of justice or because it would be a waste of resources following inquiries.

Dartford's police team tweeted: "Dartford Community Policing team have just arrested a male for doing a bit of indoor gardening.

"The Drugs are cleared out and on route for destruction! #dartford."
