When they looked in his bag they found 8.47 grams of the drug along with digital scales and two phones.

Officers went to his home in Gillingham and searched his bedroom, they also found an amount of deal bags inside.

The teenager was charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis and admitted the charge when he appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on December 15.

The court heard when officers examined his iphone they found it had evidence on it he had been dealing between November 2021 and January 2022.

District Judge Stephen Leake also heard the boy was caught with the cannabis on January 14 this year.

He also heard the boy was on a referral order he had been given previously for possession of a knife.

Judge Leake was told the boy has been associating with the wrong crowd. The court heard his dealing was only keeping him in supply of the drug and that he had reduced the amount he now smoked.

Judge Leake decided to extend the order he was on for further 12 months and ordered the cannabis be destroyed.

The boy was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £21 and £85 court costs.
