Traffic at Dartford Crossing clockwise after two crashes on M25 between Essex and Kent

Two crashes are causing traffic misery for drivers with 10-mile queues to get over the Dartford Crossing.

An earlier crash between two lorries on the QEII Bridge was causing major tailbacks with two lanes closed on the M25 between Kent and Essex.

But a second collision reportedly between a lorry and car on the Kent side of the bridge is adding to woes for hundreds of drivers.

Delays are being reported throughout the stretch and traffic cameras show queuing traffic 10 miles away at Junction 29 at Upminster for the A127 up to Junction 1B for the A282 at Dartford.

This crash was reported at about 3.30pm and two lanes are closed.

It follows the first incident reported at about 12.30pm between two trucks which was also made worse by an earlier broken down vehicle on the approach to the bridge.

Congestion was initially reported back to the Purfleet and A13 turn-off at junction 30.
