Victim 'left a trail of blood' at Dartford station after stabbing

Police were called to a railway station where a man was seen dripping with blood after it was thought he was stabbed in the leg.

A witness said the victim left a trail of blood at Dartford station, leading from the bridge walkway to the station entrance.

He was described as being his late 20s.

Police said they were called at 10pm to a report of an assault on the footbridge close to the station.

A spokesman added: "Officers and ambulance crews attended and a man was treated for leg injuries, believed to have been caused by a bladed instrument.

"He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.

"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."
