Fire in Eynsford High Street

Residents are being urged to keep their windows and doors closed as crews deal with a large barn fire.

It broke out behind the Castle Hotel on Eynsford High Street at around 5.35pm.

Five fire engines are at the scene and due to the large volume of smoke coming from the blaze, residents and businesses in the area are being asked to keep windows and doors closed as a precaution.

There are no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.

Police are also at the scene.
