Woman collapses at Priory Shopping Centre in Dartford

The emergency services were called to a busy shopping centre after a woman collapsed.

The woman, who has not been named, fell ill at the Priory Shopping Centre, in Dartford.

Ambulance crews were called to the centre in Priory Market Place shortly before 2.30pm yesterday.

Ambulance spokesman Richard Airey said: "We were called at approximately 2.25pm to reports a woman had collapsed.

"Ambulance crews attended the scene and the woman, who required resuscitation, was then taken to Darent Valley Hospital in a serious condition."
