Woman treated after oven fire in Clarendon Gardens, Dartford

A woman was treated by fire crews and paramedics after a blaze broke out in her kitchen.

Two engines arrived in Clarendon Gardens, Dartford just before 2.30pm to reports of an oven fire.

When crews arrived they discovered smoke in the property and a woman, believed to be in her early 30's suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke.

She was given oxygen therapy by firefighters at the scene prior to the arrival of the ambulance service.

The fire brigade left the scene just before 3pm.
