Dartford FC boss Tony Burman delighted to draw Swindon Town in the FA Cup

Tony Burman would love to have the TV cameras at Princes Park when Dartford host Swindon Town in the FA Cup first round next month.

Darts were drawn at home to the League 2 side on Monday night and with broadcasters always on the lookout for a potential upset, this tie must surely come into their thinking.

Due to be played on Saturday, November 4, it'll be the first time Dartford have welcomed Football League opposition since they drew with Port Vale at this stage seven years ago.

Burman said: "For everyone involved with the club, it’s a good draw for us.

"At this stage last year, we were all hoping for a League club at home and we managed to get Sutton, which was a tough draw for us. Swindon is going to be equally as tough if not more but it’s a League side and it will be a big day for the club and the town.

"I hope they’ll get the momentum going and it’ll bring in a big crowd. It’s something we can all look forward to and have a go ourselves.

"If we can have the TV cameras there as well, it would be a great boost, especially to some of the young players.

"That’s something else that would be a bonus. If it is (televised), that would be great. It’s something we can all sit down and look forward to with a bit of hope and pride."
