Dartford moved a step closer to promotion with a comfortable victory at Dulwich on Saturday.
The Isthmian Premier leaders remain a point ahead of rivals Billericay with both sides picking up away wins.
There's now just five matches remaining as Ady Pennock looks to guide the Darts back to National League South at the first attempt.
Dartford made one change from the side that won at Bognor last weekend with George Whitefield coming in for Luther Williams.
The visitors went close inside the first two minutes, Callum Jones setting up strike partner Olly Box, who fired wide from the edge of the box.
Dulwich responded as former Darts forward Luke Wanadio forced a good save from keeper Jacob Marsden. The Darts were caught napping on 13 minutes down the left-hand side, with Dulwich then finding Wanadio, whose right-foot shot hit the inside of the post and went straight back to the grateful hands of Marsden.
It was the last significant moment for the home side.
Dartford started to get into their stride, Box worked space for himself before seeing his effort saved by keeper DIllon Barnees.
The breakthrough duly arrived on 23 minutes when Sam Odaudu's left-wing cross was half-cleared and Hayden Bullas struck an excellent first-time volley beyond Barnes.
It was nearly 2-0 just two minutes later when Barnes made a mess of Carruthers' right-wing cross. Jones set up Box but his shot was blocked on the line by Michael Chambers.
Dartford doubled their advantage seven minutes before the break. A long free-kick was headed into Carruthers' pass by Odaudu and his deep cross was headed in by Jones.
Dulwich had the ball in good areas and won free-kicks in promising positions but their delivery, particularly leading up to the break was mediocre.
Bullas led a Darts counter attack early in the second half which saw Jones force a good save from Barnes before Box dragged his shot wide of the target.
Dartford scored a third goal just five minutes after the break when Bullas played in Jones and he fired low beyond Barnes to find the bottom corner for his second goal of the afternoon.
Carruthers' final act before he was replaced saw his first-time 30-yard lob land on the roof of the net.
A needless booking for substitute Eddie Dsane apart, the Darts were able to play out the remainder of the game in cruise control.
They now have a blank week before hosting Folkestone at Princes Park next Saturday.
