Dartford FC could offer defender Richard Sho-Silva a deal

Dartford have not ruled out a move for Richard Sho-Silva.

The defender has featured in three of Darts’ pre-season friendlies although other clubs are also interested.

London-born Sho-Silva, who played in the United States for Philadelphia Fury, has more recently been with Kidderminster and Stourbridge.

He partnered club captain Elliot Bradbrook in central defence against Cambridge United on Saturday.

Dartford manager Tony Burman said: "Richard has been training with us.

"He’s looking for a club, probably in a higher league, and he’s having some games for other clubs.

"Because of an injury situation on Saturday, he was available for us to have another look at.

"I’m leaving things open. He’s talking to one or two clubs where he’s been and they might be making him an offer, I’m not sure.

"It’s an area where we’re fairly covered at the moment but with all the games coming up at the start of the season, I’m keeping my options open."

Tom Bonner and Ronnie Vint were the first-choice pairing at centre-half last season while Keaton Wood can also play there.

A busy start to the season sees Dartford playing 11 times in the first six weeks of the National League South campaign.
