Things were getting a little hot under the collar for people taking part in a chicken hot-wing competition held in Deal.

Hotheads gathered for the Burger Brothers chilli challenge, to test their mettle against the ghost chilli - one of the hottest peppers known to man.

Crowds of spectators join them to cheer on the 20 contenders and to watch the inevitable waterworks, at the Deal Hoy pub in Duke Street last Friday.
