Fluffy felines joined Benedict Cumberbatch for filming on a Kent beach today.
The actor - best known for his role in the television show Sherlock - was captured in costume in Deal, with the town's landmark pier in the background.
He is in the area for the filming of Louis Wain, a biopic of the artist famous for his drawings of cats.
Ann Priestland, who lives on a road named The Beach where crews are based, also spotted some of the four-legged stars of the movie.
She said: "One of the cats in the van was a white fluffy cat dyed blue!
"I moved to The Beach three months ago, so they are literally filming about six doors down from my new home.
"Never a dull moment in Deal and Walmer. I absolutely love it!
"I'm keeping the security men sweet with the occasional cups of tea," she added.
Producers have hired Coast House, a privately owned B&B in The Beach, and have altered its appearance by painting its window shutters from white to pale pink.
Up to 10 lorries and a crane have lined the road as well as props such as garden tables, chairs and wicker baskets.
Crews have also covered the concrete promenade with sand.
Dover District Council and Kent Film Office have confirmed a filming event is taking place but are unable to comment on any more details.
