Sandwich Amateur Boxing Club’s annual show at Deal Welfare Club in Cowdray Square

Sandwich Amateur Boxing Club is to hold its annual boxing show tonight (Saturday).

The showcase of sporting talent takes place at Deal Welfare Club in Cowdray Square.

Club founder Frank Cornwall said: "There will be 20 bouts involving contestants aged 10 to 30 including two girls aged 11 and 13."

This follows on from a dinner show in December raising cash for Pilgrims Hospices, where Mr Frank's wife Betty was treated before she died of cancer.

Entry is £12 adults £5 children.
