A key road was blocked earlier this afternoon following a crash between a car and motorcycle.
Both police and the ambulance service were called to the scene at Dover Road, Walmer, at about 2,30pm today and the biker was taken to hospital.
A Kent Police spokesman said at 4.45pm: "We were called at 2.31pm following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "Ambulance crews attended the scene and the motorcyclist was assessed and treated before being taken to QEQM (Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother) Hospital in Margate."
The collision was on the A258, the only direct road between Deal and Dover.
