A car smashed into traffic lights at a pedestrian crossing in Walmer this morning.
The Honda was left wedged against railings after the crash in Dover Road shortly after 8am.
Wires were left exposed and police arrived to secure the scene.
Police said the driver did not suffer any injuries and the fire service was not required to attend.
