Day time television viewers have a chance to meet Carol and Mick Davies from Deal on Wednesday in the next episode of Antiques Road Trip.

The couple took a photo for the East Kent Mercury during the day of filming at their business Full House Emporium in Park Street and will be watching the programme at 4.30pm on BBC1.

Mrs Davies said: “Mark Stacey was the dealer who spent a couple of hours with us and we have also been contacted by the BBC to take part in the Celebrity Antiques Road Trip the next time they are filming in Kent.

“The antiques to present day Emporium opened in Deal in March this year after moving from Dover and we stock quality furniture, decorative accessories, collectable and curios.”

Mark Stacey’s passion for history led him to antiques. He was a keen collector before he turned to valuing and dealing, and nowadays his collecting habits keep his Brighton shop fully stocked. He specialises in anything Regency or Art Deco and Lalique glass.
