Freemasons donate cash to Friends of Deal Hospital at London Road, Deal

The Friends of Deal Hospital have received a welcome cash boost from the Freemasons.

The charity's chairman Doris Thompson received a cheque for £1,500 from Ivor Winham, Master of the Downs Lodge.

The cash had been raised from various social meetings organised by members of the Sondes Road society including a Burns night.

The Friends of Deal Hospital raise cash for new equipment and services at the hospital in London Road.

Their biggest event is the annual fete which is held on Saturday, August 3.
