Dog foster carers to hold garden safari stalls to boost cash after fundraising events had to be cancelled

A dog rescue and rehoming organisation based around Sandwich and Deal is taking part in a garden safari, selling a selection of leads, collars, beds, and treats.

Futures for Dogs has endured a roller-coaster year with many highs but sadly more lows than usual with hurricanes and the Covid virus halting crucial fundraising events.

The safari on Sunday includes stalls from homes across East Studdal and Ashley from 9am to 2pm.

It is organised separately and Futures for Dogs is utilising the platform to raise cash when so many of its events had to be cancelled.

Parking, maps, teas and coffees will be available from the village hall, 2 Homestead lane, East Studdal.

Futures for Dogs is presently caring for three animals with long term needs which are expensive.

One case comes from a background of cruelty, and the pet can not be re-homed until it is dealt with in the courts.

Cash is needed to pay medical bills and for food.

Donating, even amounts as small as £1, enables the cause to clear these outgoings.

You can do this via paypal futuresfordogs@aol.com (use the sending family option button).

Alternatively you can pay into Futures for Dogs' charity bank account at Lloyds Bank. Sort code is 30 93 34 Account number 03127768.
