Auditions for both adults and children will be held the following week on Monday, March 2 and Thursday, March 5 at 7pm.

All will be held at the Village Hall in Reach Road in St Margaret's Bay.

The new show is an exciting cowboy tale set in the country outside the town of Claremore, USA in 1906.

It tells the story of farm girl, Laurey Williams, and her courtship by two rival suitors, Curly McLain, and the menacing farmhand, Jud Fry.

The well known Rogers and Hammerstein musical includes famous songs such as Oh what a beautiful mornin’, The Surrey with the fringe on top and People will say we're in love.

It is being staged by the group's experienced director and musical director Viv Howlett and Terry Shaw.

Singers and actors must be over the age of 18 while those auditioning to be part of the chorus or a dancer should be at least eight years of age.

To show your interest or find out more call Viv Howlett on 07870 737456 or 01304 852975.
