Police cars and forensics van at Mill Road, Deal, after death at property

Police investigating a death at a private address in Deal have said they are not treating it as suspicious.

Officers were called to the property in Mill Road at 10.50am and a police presence remained in the street throughout the afternoon.

A spokesman for the force said: "Police were called due to concern for a man at a property in Mill Road, Deal at 10.50am on Wednesday 22 January 2020.

"Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin are aware."

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
