A special Christmas Eve market will bring festive cheer to last minute shoppers in Deal.
The event on Friday, organised by Deal Town Council, will feature 38 stalls plus music from the Landmark Show Choir.
It will be in Union Road car park, the same spot as the town's usual Saturday market.
In view of concerns over the transmission of the Omicron variant, shoppers are asked to give each other space.
The Mayor of Deal, Cllr Chris Turner said: “We were concerned about Covid and the onset of winter, so back at our full council meeting at the end of October we decided to fund more information resources.
"The message 'Hands, Face, Space' is simple, but important.”
Free parking will be available in Dover District Council’s car parks across the town.
This runs from Thursday, December 23 through to Tuesday, December 28 and over New Year.
