Drivers faced delays on a main road through the county following a multi-vehicle crash.
There was heavy congestion on the A256 between Dover and Sandwich near Kennel Hill for several hours from about 4pm on Thursday.
It was due to a collision involving at least two vehicles on the northbound carriageway between the Whitfield roundabout in Dover and before Tilmanstone near Betteshanger.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “We were called at about 3.59pm on Thursday to reports of a road traffic collision on the A256.
“Crews attended the scene and no injuries were reported.”
The incident also caused lorries to be diverted through the village of Eythorne.
