Deal Breastfeeding Support Group attempt to set Global Big Latch On world record

The sun shone bright as breastfeeding mums joined in a world record attempt in Walmer on Saturday.

Deal Breastfeeding Support Group hosted a Global Big Latch On, an international event as part of World Breastfeeding Week, from August 1 to 7.

The aim is to have the most number of babies being breastfed.

Eight babies latched on at The Sea Cafe Coffee Shop on Walmer Green for the required time - one minute.

These numbers will be added together with others recorded around the world on Saturday, Sunday and Monday to see if the attempt was successful.
