The 7.30pm event features Kent based Bavarian style band The Bettesteiner Footstompers, as seen on The Alan Titchmarsh Show.

Big Willy, Otto Gell, Gretel, Stefan Schnetker and Wandering Hans will be playing a selection of foot stomping, thigh slapping German tunes, with all the feels of Munich Oktoberfest.

Tickets cost £30 each and include a Peach Schnapps on arrival, with all your drink and food – beer, wine and soft drinks, sausages and live music provided.

Fundraising and events officer Kerry Banks BEM said: “This really is a great event that has been enjoyed by so many over the years.

"Last year the event was cancelled three times due to Covid19 but when we were eventually able to hold it, it was a sell out!"

Martha Trust supports young people and adults with profound disabilities at homes in Deal and Hastings.

Despite pandemic related limitations in 2021, its team of fundraisers still managed to deliver a year long programme of events in just six months.

This included their flagship event Music on the Farm in June, which raised £25,000.

They also hosted virtual events like Zoom Bingo and 5kMay and welcomed support from 'lockdown heroes' - people like Stewart Brown, Scott Jackson and Rob Crook who undertook personal challenges to raise money.

The funds raised have helped purchase four eye gaze machines and a bladder scanner for service users.

Mrs Banks added: "We would like to say a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone that has supported Martha Trust in what was another very challenging year.

"2022 marks our 35th anniversary so we would like to make it the best yet."

Upcoming fundraisers include a golf day at Walmer & Kingsdown on Friday, April 22, a charity cricket match at Walmer Cricket Club in Sholden and Music on the Farm 2022 at Solleys in Ripple on Sunday, June 26.
