It will be an all day eaterie with eco friendly elements fused into the decor. It is also completely dog friendly.

The duo beat off strong competition to secure the 20-year lease from Dover District Council (DDC).

The unit has been closed since January 2017 after former occupant Jasin Kaplan's lease was terminated by mutual agreement with DDC.

It will be open daily from 9am until 4pm.

New seating along the pier was completed in time for Christmas.

The works to replace the seating on the entire 300m length of the pier and stem were part of a £500,000 revamp of Deal Pier announced to mark its Diamond Anniversary in 2017.

The project was completed ahead of schedule by Walmer-based contractors, Hipperson.
