Shocking images of two men running past a home with a large machete have been released as police continue to hunt for the indiviudals.

Officers were called to St Augustine's Road in Deal following reports of a man disposing of a knife.

CCTV footage shows a man dressed in a black tracksuit dash past a house on the road with what appears to be a machete in his right hand just after 3.30 on Friday.

Just moments later, another man, wearing a light grey tracksuit and also carrying a long blade, can be seen go by in the same direction.

A person living nearby later found a blade in the street.

A police spokesman added: “No injuries or additional criminal offences were reported.

“Officers attended and have seized the knife while an investigation continues.

“Additional police patrols are taking place in the area while those involved are being located.
