Tickets for Deal & Betteshanger Rugby Club’s annual firework display are now on sale.
The spectacular event, which promises to be the biggest, the best and the brightest, will be on Friday at the ground at The Drill Field in Canada Road.
Gates will open at 6pm and the display will commence at 7.45pm.
There will be food, refreshments, novelties, music and of course a bar.
Director Serge Orlov said: “This year we are pleased to announce that we have the pleasure of featuring The Tony Johnson Band who will be playing in the club house immediately after the display.
“Please come along and bring the family.
“It promises to be the most spectacular, the biggest, the best and the brightest.”
The display has been made possible by generous and substantial donations from local businesses; the Hole in the Roof, Ward Homes and Décor Discount.
Mr Orlov said: “Our thanks goes to the Hole in the Roof for their fundraiser which raised £600, Ward Homes for their second year of support donating £500 and Décor Discount for their donation of £500.”
Tickets are available from today (Tuesday) from the East Kent Mercury office in Queen Street, Ebdens Garage in Gilford Road, Décor Discount in The Strand, the Hole in The Roof in Queen Street and Rugby Clubhouse in Canada Road.
Alternatively they can be bought at the gates on the night.
Advance tickets cost £4 for adults, £2 for children or £12 for a family of four.
Tickets on the night will cost £5 for adults and £3 for children.
