Wheelie bin fire spreads to outbuilding in Deal

Firefighters have tackled a wheelie bin fire which spread to an outbuilding.

Crews were called to Pilots Avenue in Deal at 3.23pm.

Using hose reels, they extinguished the blaze within 10 minutes before checking it was fully out using a thermal imaging camera.

A spokesman said: "The fire is believed to be accidental.

"It began from waste in a wheelie bin which had spread to the door and a door frame of a concrete outbuilding shed."
