The 2000 winners Deal needed penalties to progress after twice taking the lead at Sporting Bengal. Goals at the start of either half from Billy Munday and Aaron Millbank put Deal ahead but they were pegged back both times and eventually went through 5-4 on spot-kicks.

Harry Taylor's brace was enough for Erith Town to reach round four for the first time in their history.

The Dockers won 2-1 at fellow Southern Counties East side Stansfeld - who reached round five last season. The hosts had equalised early in the second half through Dan Parkinson's penalty.

Larkfield nearly took their tie with Combined Counties League Premier Division South leaders Raynes Park Vale to a penalty shoot-out.

Vale looked in charge after Reece Hannigan and Aaron Lamont goals but Mackenzie Gardiner got one back with 12 minutes left for the Larks, who then hit the woodwork in the last minute.

In league action, Premier Division leaders Erith & Belvedere dropped points for only the third time this season after a 3-3 draw at home to lowly Fisher.

Tunde Aderonmu scored twice for the Deres with Bradley Ryan also netting while Isaac Thompson scored a hat-trick in reply for Fisher, who played the last half-hour with 10 men following a red card.

Rusthall are up to fourth after second-half goals from Luke Miller and Yassin Fares ensured a 2-0 win at Welling Town.

Tunbridge Wells sit fifth after goals from Jack Walder, Tommy Smith and Jamie Nurdon completed a 3-0 success at bottom side Canterbury.

Ryan Hayes and Francis Babalola looked to have put Phoenix Sports on course for three points at Sutton Athletic but the hosts hit back with two goals in as many minutes by Arlie Desanges and Harry Lawrence to rescue a 2-2 draw.

Glebe ended Punjab United's impressive run with a 4-1 away win thanks to Georgi Steeds, Jamie Philpot, Malachi Morris and Tyreke Leslie.

Three goals in five second-half minutes saw Hollands & Blair collect maximum points in an early kick-off at K Sports. Ben Brown, Tom Walmsley and Sam Wright netted for Blair with Dieko Falade's late goal no more than a consolation.

All the action came in the closing stages at Honey Lane as Whitstable won 2-1 at Bearsted. James Jeffrey put the Oystermen ahead on 87 minutes, Victor Aiyelabola doubled the lead and then Phil Headley netted for the Bears.

Division 1 leaders Snodland trailed for most of the game at home to third-placed Lydd but Byron Walker's 90th-minute goal ensured a 1-1 draw at Potyns.
