Margate: Where to go and what to do

Brazen, bold and beautiful, any visit to Kent wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Margate.

The resort has been drawing in holidaymakers for generations and its eclectic mix of attractions mixes modern with traditional seaside fun.

Whether your preference for summer fun, one thing is for sure that – you will not be disappointed in Margate as the town has it all.

The Turner Contemporary Gallery has been home to many exhibitions since it opened more than five years ago. A stunning building inside, the Turner is a beacon of hope for a town that is slowly returning to its former glories after a time in the doldrums.
