Diners in Dover got the exclusive chance to have dinner with a top celebrity chef.

They met Marco Pierre White who visited his twin restaurants on Wednesday night for the first anniversary of their opening.

He was at Mr White's English Chophouse and Wheelers Fish and Chips on the seafront.

Locals lucky enough to get a place in the pre-booked event were also able to get from him autographed copies of his book White Heat 25.

Prominent guests included Dover District Council leader Trevor Bartlett and chairman Mike Conolly.

The restaurants, at the Best Western Plus Dover Marina Hotel and Spa, opened late last year.
