Children from Dover, Whitfield and Langdon to sing Christmas carols with P&O Ferries Choir

Children from four primary schools will join the celebrated P&O Ferries Choir for the singing of Chrismas carols.

They will be at the Grand Marquee of the Leaf Hotel Dover from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, December 18.

The youngsters are from Priory Fields School and St Mary’s C of E Primary School in Dover, Whitfield Aspen School, and Langdon Primary School.

Children from Priory Fields sing at 5.15pm, those from St Mary's at 5.30pm. youngsters from Aspen at 5.45pm and those from Langdon at 6pm.

Santa Claus will visit the event between 5.30pm and 6.15pm.

The P&O Ferries Choir shot to fame in 2013 as winners in the BBC TV series The Choir: Sing While You Work.

They have had a high profile since such as headlining a classical open air concert at Leeds Castle and singing in London's Hyde Park as part of the Last Night of the Proms.

They released their second album last December.

The Leaf Hotel Dover is at Singledge Lane, Whitfield.

The concert is free and booking is not needed.
