A main road was blocked after a car flipped onto its roof.

Police were called to the A258 Dover Road near Dover shortly before 10am, after the car overturned.

The accident happened on the stretch between Queen's Rise, Ringwould, and where the A258 becomes Deal Road, near Martin Mill.

No injuries have been reported, but traffic was heavy in the aftermath while emergency responders worked to clear the scene.

The road had cleared and traffic returned to normal by 11.30am.
