Hole in wall collision, Belgrave Road, Dover: Romney Marsh man arrested

One man has been arrested following a road collision that injured two people and left a hole in a wall.

The suspect was taken in on Tuesday last week.

The incident was after 9am on Belgrave Road, Dover, on Saturday, November 30.

Police at the time said that they had been called to a collision involving three cars and two people suffered minor injuries.

A Kent Police spokesman now said: "A 22-year-old man from Romney Marsh was arrested on suspicion of assault on the afternoon of December 3.

"He has since been bailed, pending further enquiries, until December 24."

The allegation is that the suspect used a car in the assault.

The collision had caused a large hole in the flank wall of a nearby house.

Police sealed off the area for nearly three hours while a forensics team scoured the scene for clues.

That part of Belgrave Road was closed along with the entrances to it from Clarendon Place and Westbury Crescent.
