Diners can now pick up a kebab at the same time they fill up their car.
The first Kent branch of Doner & Gyros has opened inside a petrol station in Dover.
Its counter can be found in the Budgens at Whitfield Service Station along the A2, which is also home to a separate McDonald's and Fireaway Pizza.
While the Dover branch of Doner & Gyros is the 5th store in the UK after Reading, Taunton, Bury and Yeovil, it is the first on a forecourt.
The services at Whitfield recently underwent a £1.5 million redevelopment, which saw the shop expand.
Service station managing director Kanagaratnam Rajaseelan - known as Seelan - says the new takeaway has created six jobs.
Speaking at the opening, he said the improvements at Whitfield were “as much for those who live here as for those passing through”.
Seelan thanked Diljit Brar, one of the directors of Doner & Gyros, for their “inspirational drive and enthusiasm” for the outlet, which represents the first franchise the company has opened in a service station.
“In that sense, it is a new venture for them as well as for us. Their support has been tremendous,” he said.
It comes as the service station recently underwent a £1.5 million redevelopment which saw the Budgens shop expanded creating 15 new jobs.
Seelan also owns Dover Marina Hotel and Spa, which has also been modernised and expanded and will shortly be unveiling new conference and bar areas.
