Jason McRobbie, 34, of Squires Way, Dover, charged with burglary at Buckland Hospital and charity box thefts

A man has been charged with burglary in a hospital and stealing two charity boxes.

These are among six offences Jason McRobbie is accused of.

He is charged with burglary after a purse and money were reported stolen from the staff room at Buckland Hospital, Dover, last Saturday.

He was also charged with stealing a charity box plus shoplifting, taking a can of cider, both from a shop in Bewsbury Cross Lane, Whitfield, last Friday.

Further counts are stealing a can of cider from the same shop on Friday, July 27, a camera from a museum in Whitfield on Saturday, June 16, and a charity box from a hotel in Deal Road, Dover, on Sunday, July 29.

McRobbie, 34,, of Squires Way, Dover, was arrested yesterday.

He has been bailed to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 5.
