A man has been found dead after reportedly falling from a clifftop in Dover.

Emergency services were called to Langdon Cliffs last night where the tragic discovery was made.

Police, ambulance, the coastguard and search and rescue teams attended the scene just after 8pm.

The coastguard helicopter from Lydd aided teams from Folkestone, Deal, and Langdon Bay.

Rock climbers and dog units were reportedly also seen to be scouring the cliffs and the surrounding area.

The man's body was found following the night-time search.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the Coroner.
