Appeal after man has phone and wallet stolen by knife-wielding gang in London Road in Dover

Police are appealing for information after a man had his phone and wallet stolen by a knife-wielding gang.

He is said to have been approached and threatened by three men in London Road, Dover, between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on Monday, one of whom was believed to be carrying a small blade.

The group then ran off in the direction of Tower Hamlets Road.

The three men were described as black and aged in their late teens or early twenties.

One was believed to be wearing a reflective coat, a second was wearing a black tracksuit, and then third had a blue padded coat. They spoke with London accents.

Officers would like to hear from anyone with information about the robbery or if they saw anything suspicious in the area at the time.
