Man arrested after stabbing in Shooters Hill Dover

A man in his 60s has been arrested after a stabbing.

The victim was injured in his leg.

Police were called to the incident which happened at Shooters Hill, Dover.

The incident happened at around 6.40pm yesterday.

A spokesman said: "Kent Police were called to a disturbance at a residential property.

"Officers arrived at the address where a man in his 30s had suffered an injury to his leg, which was consistent with a stab wound.

"A 69-year-old man from Dover, who is known to the victim, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and assault."

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
