A massive air and sea search and rescue took place this morning.
Coastguards now confirm they have helped Border Force with multiple incidents of the Kent coast.
HM Coastguard says it has also been working with Kent Police and the RNLI.
It says that that RNLI lifeboats and border patrol vessels were sent out.
Coastguard teams and a coastguard fixed wing aircraft also helped.
A spokesman said: "HM Coastguard is only concerned with preservation of life, rescuing those in trouble and bringing them safely back to shore, where they will be handed over to the relevant partner emergency services or authorities."
The RNLI also confirmed to Kent Online that it had sent out the Dover all-weather lifeboat City of London II.
An RNLI spokesman told KentOnline: "We launched at 7.20am today from Dover."
A Border Force spokesman told KOL:" Border Force is currently dealing with a number of small boat incidents on the Kent coast.
"Further details will be provided once the situation has been resolved."
