Detectives from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit arrested the suspects, who are being questioned at a police station in the West Midlands.

The arrests were intelligence-led and officers confirmed that there was no risk to the public.

Officers say that this is not linked to the London Bridge terror attack and inquiries into the pair were taking place prior to the incident in the capital on Wednesday, November 29.
