It is this Saturday , from noon to 4pm, and next Monday from 2pm to 6pm.

The proposals follow on from the granting of outline planning permission for 64 units at the Officers' Mess site in 2016.

Dover District Council says that the new development is set to enhance the rich heritage context of Fort Burgoyne and Dover Castle.

It says it would also incorporate a landscape setting that is sensitive to the neighbouring Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Dover Road at Guston will additionally be diverted, taking the route through the scheme leading to a new junction on the A258 Castle Hill Road.

The proposal is by Homes England, the government agency that funds new affordable housing in England.

A total 500 homes are earmarked for the 55-hectare site.
