Police have been called after a lorry smashed into a railway bridge.

Officers and county council representatives attended Coombe Valley Road in Dover this afternoon.

A KCC post on X states: “There are delays at the railway bridge due to a lorry striking the bridge.

“Kent Police attending and KCC representatives en route to assist with debris cleaning and damage to traffic signals.

“Approach with caution.”

KCC and police have been contacted for more detail.
