Dover's Duke Of York military school hit by coronavirus

The Duke of York's Royal Military School in Dover is the latest to be hit by Covid

The school confirmed today it had a number of postive cases but said it would remain open.

A spokesman today confirmed: “A number of cases have tested positive for Covid-19, and we are working closely with Public Health England who have praised our handling of the situation."

"The school does not comment on individual students or staff.”

Founded in 1803, for the children of military personnel, the state co-educational boarding school caters for around 500 secondary-aged students.
