Police are searching for a 24-year-old woman who has been missing for more than a week.

Callie Lewis was last seen on Wednesday, August 22, but spoke to a friend on the phone during the early hours of Tuesday.

A police spokesman said: "Officers have reason to believe she may be outside Kent now and in the area of Lake Windermere in the Lake District."

Callie is white, slim with dark hair and 5ft tall.

Anyone with information about where she might be should call police on 101 quoting reference 29-0616 as soon as possible.
